As I promised before the Holidays, I thought I share some personal work. So here it is, my first self-made video ever for my buddy’s 30th birthday, starring friends and family members. Watch out Mr. Spielberg!
So it’s called The 30, and it was a special gift for my buddy on his 30th birthday. I know, I know enough of talking let’s watch it. The letters are forming the words “Happy Birthday” in Hungarian.
The 30
Some background info
I did the shooting (stills and the small video clips) with a Sony DSC-T9 digital still(!) camera.
The video - as I’m still in the pre-switch phase of my life - is made with the video editing software built in the Windows XP, called Windows Movie Maker 5.1. Yes, Windows, at least my version, has a built in software for movie making. And what’s the best? It doesn’t suck, only freeze if you work with larger files, but it’s worth to check out if you have it installed.
The music is by the lucky Seal, from the album Seal IV, called Love’s Divine.

@ Ginnopaoli - Thanks, it always inspires me to get out the most from softwares with limitations. Actually Movie Maker would be a great application for home users, if only they wouldn’t stopped putting effort to it’s testing and optimizing.
